We’ve just rolled out two updates to make your everyday operations in Moder even smoother.

1. Summary Invoices – Simpler, Smarter Billing

What’s new?

You now have the option to generate Summary Invoices — a more compact and guest-friendly version of your traditional invoice. Instead of showing each booked item line by line, the summary format groups similar items and hides unnecessary details.


How It Works:

  • Grouped items: Identical products (e.g., 3 x Mountain Suites for the same duration) are combined into one row.
  • Bundled extras: Add-ons like extra beds or meals tied to a room/activity are included in the core product price rather than listed separately.
  • VAT simplified: Individual VAT percentages per item aren’t shown in the product rows, since a row may include items with different rates. Instead, a full VAT breakdown appears below the product list.


How to Use It:

Open any invoice, click “Create Summary Invoice”, and you’re done — a summary version is now available for that invoice.


Why It Matters:

 Perfect for group bookings and package deals, this format makes invoices look neater and easier to understand. Guests get a clean, professional invoice with less clutter — making billing more guest-friendly.

2. Booking Preview Enhancements: Faster Access to What Matters

Click to open customer profile

You can now click the customer name directly in the Booking preview to open the full customer profile. From there, you can:

  • Edit contact details

  • Add internal notes like preferences, allergies, or returning-guest info

Perfect for improving service for repeat guests.



Click to open Group Booking

If the booking belongs to a group, just click the Group name in the booking preview to access the entire Group Booking. This makes it easy to:

  • Manage sub-bookings

  • See shared details and billing

  • Edit or cancel the whole group in one place
