One base price, multiple room types
Do you have several room types with the same price? Now you only need to create one base price and add it to all the desired items at once using a clear selection menu.
In addition, you can still change one room type's pricing with price rules as per usual. For example, you can create a single base price for Standard and Standard Double rooms, and then use a pricing rule to make the Double room, say, 15% more expensive.
More about price rules can be found here: Price rules
You can now also choose whether or not to apply pricing rules at all.
With this setting, you can, for example, make prices for a travel agency–specific price group static, so that other pricing rules affecting different prices will not alter the created pricing.
Efficiency and flexibility for pricing with Price groups
With the Price groups tool, you can easily create net price groups for travel agencies and tour operators, or other price groups suitable for internal use. You can also set a price group to be shown by default in the booking calendar. Here's how it works:
1. Create price group:
2. Create base prices to which the newly created price groups are linked:

How to use the price group in a booking?

- Select the booking dates, number of people, and units
- Select the price group
- Add to cart
- Add customer details & checkout
You can also add a price group later to an existing booking by opening up the Total price in the booking’s editing window:

Pricing 2.0: What's next?
Our product development is now in full swing when it comes to pricing. Adding the Price Groups tool also makes it possible to develop and refine other requested features. For now, price groups can only be created for internal use, but in the future pricing in Moder could look like this:
- Prices with different booking and cancellation policies, i.e. refundable and non-refundable prices
- Pricing based on included additional services: is breakfast included?
- More efficient revenue management
- A more user-friendly structure
