SMS Messages

To enable automatic sending of door codes via SMS, activate the Scheduled SMS sending feature in Moder.

You can do this by navigating to Customers -> Scheduled Messages in Moder.


You can also send the PIN code manually from the edit view button within the reservation.


Lock Integration and PIN Codes

If you have set a room-specific PIN code and then enable a lock integration,

the lock system’s generated PIN code will override the existing one.

The active code will be visible on the reservation.


The door code will also appear in the guest’s GuestApp once the check-in time has begun.


Changing Reservation Duration (Same Room)

If the reservation duration is changed (start or end time),

the updated time will automatically sync to the lock system,

and the existing PIN code will remain the same.


Moving a Reservation to Another Room

If a reservation is transferred to another room,

it will be removed from the lock system - meaning the existing PIN code will also be deleted.


Note: At the moment, you must open and re-save the reservation in Moder after moving it to the new room.

This will trigger a new PIN code for the reservation.


Changing Check-in or Check-out Times

If you want to modify check-in or check-out times on an existing reservation:

  • Open the reservation
  • Adjust the times as needed
  • Save the reservation


This will ensure the changes are updated in the lock system.
