If you want to add your accommodation or some of the properties for sale to Booking.com, the integration can be done with Moder through the Beds24 channel management. After this, all bookings from Booking.com come directly to Moder, and Booking.com reads availability and pricing directly from Moder.
The process proceeds as follows:
1. Create the desired room types/items in your own Booking.com channel management account, if they are not already there.
2. Download and complete the "Room mappings for Moder x Booking.com" Excel attached to this article. Instructions for filling out Excel can be found inside Excel.
3. Contact Moder's support (support@moder.fi) and tell them that you want to use the Booking.com sales channel. At the same time, return the completed room mapping Excel.
4. We will agree with you a suitable day when the integration can be implemented. On the morning of the integration day, we ask that you switch from your own Booking.com channel management to Connectivity Provider to Beds24. We strongly recommend that you close the sale to Booking.com at the same time as you switch to Beds24 as a Connectivity Provider to avoid double bookings.
The sale opens on Booking.com automatically when the integration is done.
We will let you know when the integration is complete. After this, Booking.com reads availability and pricing directly from Moder.
Things to consider in Booking.com pricing:
- If you use the Per occupancy pricing model towards Booking.com, the additional person fee can only be set per night. It is not possible to set an additional person fee per reservation.
- If price changes have been set for the basic pricing of the property in Moder according to the duration of the reservation (e.g. 10% discount if you stay for at least three nights), these rules are not transferred directly to Booking.com, but must be created separately through your own Booking.com channel management.
- The actual price rules set through Moder will also be transferred to Booking.com. It is also possible to set price rules that only apply to external booking channels (see instructions here, if necessary).
- When you update prices or price rules in Moder, remember to press the "Update prices to sales channels" button in the upper right corner of Moder's Pricing section; this way the prices are updated faster to the booking channels (usually the delay is from a few minutes to tens of minutes, depending on the booking channel).
Moder sends prices to Booking.com always one year ahead.
Where do I find Booking.com property ID and room ID for the mapping excel
Property ID shown in the picture below
Room ID you can find for example from the calendar, next to the room name. Normally it is a few numbers shorter than property ID
From where do I switch Beds as connectivity provider in the Booking.com channel manager
