3.9.2024 A couple improvements and new features

Moder has received several improvements and new features lately. Here's a list of everything new!

Change in VAT rate (in Finland)

The VAT change has been implemented on Moder, starting from 1.9.2024. All products that were 24% VAT rate, are now 25.5% VAT rate. We sent out a separate newsletter recently with more details and instructions. If you haven’t received the newsletter, please ask us to add you to the mailing list!

Improvements to unit base activities

We have made it easier to create unit based items on Moder and added a "Unit based" button when you are creating a new unit based activity. We also modified the number of people in unit based activities, so that multiple people can fit into one unit.

Improved calendar view for activity booking

We have redesigned the calendar view for activity bookings in the webstore to make it clearer. It is now easier for travelers to view different dates for activities.

Improvements to the new sales report for accounting

We have added categories to the "Sales for accounting" report to make it easier to read. The new sales report no longer includes sales from destination Moders, so the report only contains data from your own Moder.

More permissions for Front Desk-users

Based on your requests, we've added some very useful permissions for Front Desk-users:

Prices visible when entering rooms into a new group booking
Ability to search for a customer in the database when creating a new booking from the back-end
Option to create linked group bookings via the back-end

Bug fix in extra services

There was a minor bug on Moder, when adding an image to an extra service, all written text would disappear. This annoying bug has now been fixed, and your text will no longer disappear unexpectedly.
