Cookie Management

Moder provides on the customer's reservation site (app.moder.fi/<kohteen-nimi>) the ability for its own analytics using Google Analytics and the use of Google Tag Manager.

The reservation site's cookie settings are managed via the CookieYes service and the user's consents are stored in the browser's cookie using CookieYes.

CookieYes provides, via Google Tag Manager, the ability to listen to consent events, which in the case of the customer's own Tag Manager can be used to manage and load desired scripts onto the reservation page.

CookieYes is compatible with Google consent mode v2, it also sets the ad_user_data and ad_personalization consents or denials. When the user sets consents, the consents are updated according to the selection, as shown in the example image below:

How to load scripts in Tag Manager based on user consents

Loading scripts in Tag Manager is done using custom events. A precise up-to-date guide on utilizing events can be found on CookieYes's page: https://www.cookieyes.com/documentation/features/integrations/block-third-party-cookies-with-google-tag-manager-and-cookieyes/
