15.6.2026: New in Moder – Reporting page redesign and new Accounting feature

Moder's reporting homepage has received a fresh new look and improved user experience!

Reports are now organized into clear categories based on their purpose, making it easier to find the information you need:

  • Reservations

  • Revenue & performance

  • Finance & accounting

  • Accounting

  • Exports & other

In addition, each report now includes a short description explaining how the report works and what it can be used for.

The reporting filters have also been made more visible and accessible, making it easier to filter and analyze your data.

New accounting feature

We have also released a new accounting feature in Moder, which can be found under:

Settings → Accounting

With the accounting feature, you can:

  • Create sales accounts and their tracking dimensions

  • Link sales accounts to products

  • Manage accounting-related reporting more efficiently

You can find detailed instructions for using the accounting feature here. The accounting feature is now available to all customers on the Moder Small+ plan and above.

New report: Sales by accounts

As part of the new accounting feature, a new report called Sales by accounts has been added to the reporting section.

At the same time, the previous Bookings VAT breakdown report has been discontinued and replaced by this new report.

To use the report, sales accounts, tracking dimensions, and product account mappings must first be configured in the accounting feature. The report generates a sales breakdown based on these settings.

Please note that reporting filters are not yet supported for the Sales by account report. This means that the report cannot currently be filtered by criteria such as location.
