2.10.2026: Moder weekly update – Improvements to invoicing, SMS settings and the extra services calendar

A lot has happened in Moder this week! We have released several larger and smaller improvements. Below is a summary of the most important updates and product releases from this week.

New settings for delivering door codes

Expedia, and now also Booking.com, no longer provide guests' phone numbers to booking systems. Because of this, we have updated the settings for scheduled SMS messages in Moder.

With the new options, door codes, for example, can now also be delivered to guests by email when a phone number is not available.

The invoice page has a new look

We have completely redesigned the invoice editing page in Moder. With the new view, creating, editing and managing invoices is now clearer and smoother.

Reordering products in the Extra services calendar

Products in the Operations Extra services calendar can now be arranged in your preferred order. This much-requested feature was also released this week.

You can change the order of the products using the Reorder button in the calendar.

Please note that if you would like the new order to remain permanent, you will need to save it as a saved view. Otherwise, the order will return to the previous one when you leave the view.

Moder Lounge Live

The third Moder Lounge Live webinar of the autumn was also held this week. Our CEO Matti Ala-Outinen presented the redesigned invoice view and gave a first look at the upcoming redesign of the pricing page. Matti also went through other improvements currently in the development pipeline.
