20.3.2025 Point of Sale (POS)

Moderin cash register, i.e., Point of Sales, is finally here! Using it is simple and you will find the cash register in Moder's menu

To get products for sale in the register, you need to select the appropriate products from the extra services as follows:

1. Choose a product from your extra services that you want to sell from the POS, or create a completely new one

2. Click the "Sold in POint of Sale" toggle on and press save

Tip! Log out once, if you are doing this for the first time - the product is not immediately saved to the register for sale when you press save

3. Sell the product at the register and choose your desired payment method!

How to sell?

The POS view is as follows when you want to sell products:

And on the right are payment methods, from which you can choose to settle the purchase on room bill/tab, card, or cash. You can also empty the shopping cart, or edit the products and price.

Room tab

You can finalize products for credit sale from the register by starting to type the customer's name into the "Reservation" text field and selecting the desired reservation from the list. Complete the payment method.

Receipt?

You can immediately after completing the payment transaction send the receipt to your client, or print it:

Reports

The financial summary and for sales reports, POS sales are recorded in the property's account section in all other cases except when the POS sale has been transferred to the room tab. In that case, the sale is recorded according to the reservation's check-in date in the same way as other extra services.
