4.9.2026: New in Moder – Daily Control

We have released a new tool in Moder called Daily Control, designed to make financial management and accounting easier. At the same time, the Billing section has been renamed Finance.

Billing is now Finance

The section previously known as Billing in Moder is now called Finance. Under Finance, you’ll still find the familiar Invoices section, along with the new Daily Control section.

Keep your finances in order with Daily Control

The new Daily Control helps you keep your booking, payment, and billing figures in order day after day. It brings together discrepancies and open items that require attention, helping you identify and fix potential issues before they reach your accounting.

Moder automatically updates Daily Control overnight and highlights critical issues, warnings, and open amounts. You can filter the view by property, date range, severity, and issue type, for example. You can also use the search to quickly find issues related to a specific customer, booking, or reference.

Review and fix issues in the right place

Clicking a booking listed under an issue opens a detailed view explaining what the issue is and what actions are recommended to resolve it. If an issue doesn’t require any action, an admin user can also dismiss it with a specified reason.

A modern alternative to the traditional night audit

Daily Control is a modern alternative to the traditional night audit: there’s no need to manually close the day. Instead, Moder continuously monitors the situation and highlights anything that requires your attention. This helps keep your finances in order, your accountant happy, and reduces the amount of investigating needed at the end of the month.
