Question: If a price change based on the reservation length were, for example, stay of 7 nights, -20%, is the discount only applied to the 7‑night point or to 7 nights and beyond?

Answer: A price change based on the duration always applies to that day and onward, until a new possible price change based on the duration is set.

Example: Pricing includes price rules based on duration: 5 days -10% and 7 days -20%. In this case the first 4 days do not include price changes and the price is determined by the daily pricing. For days 5 and 6 a 10 percent discount is given from the set daily price and from the seventh day onward a 20 percent discount is given.

Question: What if there are multiple price rules overlapping? Do the price rules cancel each other out?

Answer: Price rules are cumulative, i.e., they are added together. If multiple increasing rules affect the same period, all increases are in effect. Conversely, if one rule raises the price and another lowers it, all rules are taken into account.

Example: A week of vacation is booked for Midsummer. The base price (100 euros per day of the week) has been increased for the summer season by 20%, and additionally, during the Midsummer week the price is raised by another 30%. At the same time, bookings longer than 6 days receive a 20% weekly discount. The weekly price without summer surcharges is therefore 560 euros, to which a 20% summer surcharge is added first and then a further 30% Midsummer surcharge. The total comes to 874 euros.
