Starting Airbnb integration in Moder
Last updated: February 18, 2026
If you want to add your accommodation or some of your properties for sale on Airbnb, your Airbnb account can be integrated into Moder via the Beds24 channel management. After that, all bookings from your Airbnb account will go directly to Moder, and Airbnb will read availability and pricing directly from Moder.
Note! Do not create a Beds24 account yourself; the Moder team will create it for you. You also do not need to use Beds24, as the software functions as a tool for Moder staff in the integration.
To start the Airbnb integration, we need certain information from you before we can connect the systems.
What information do we need
For the Airbnb connection we need:
List of your Moder room types
Their corresponding names in Airbnb
Listing numbers in Airbnb
Identical rooms
If you have multiple identical rooms, you can create only one room type. We will then add the number of units from Beds24.
Process
Create an Airbnb profile and listings (if you haven't done so yet)
Gather the names of your Moder room types and their corresponding Airbnb names and listing numbers
Contact support and provide this information
Moder support will email you instructions on how to connect your Airbnb account to your Beds24 account. Please confirm back to us by email once you have completed the connection.
When your Airbnb account is linked to your Beds24 account, we can complete the integration.
If you already have existing bookings on your Airbnb account, we will import the bookings directly into Moder using the import tool, so you don't need to add them manually to Moder in advance.
Things to note in Airbnb pricing
If you use the Per occupancy pricing model towards Airbnb, the additional guest fee can only be set per night. Setting an additional guest fee per booking is not possible.
If you use additional guest pricing, duration-based discounts for the accommodation (e.g., weekly discount) cannot be used.
When you update prices or pricing rules in Moder, remember to press the "Update prices to sales channels"-button; this causes the prices to update to the booking channels faster (usually the delay is from a few minutes to tens of minutes, depending on the booking channel).
Moder always sends prices to Airbnb for one year ahead.
Airbnb and iCal
Airbnb can also be connected to Moderi using iCal integration, but we do not recommend this connection method, as an API connection is a significantly more reliable option.
Things to note regarding Airbnb iCal
Pricing does not transfer from Moder to Airbnb; pricing must still be managed from the Airbnb account.
Even though pricing does not transfer from Moder to Airbnb, the property must still have prices set up in Moder, otherwise availability cannot be sent (i.e., before iCal integration, ensure that pricing is created for the property in Moder).
Booked times are transferred from Airbnb to Moder as reservations, and likewise Airbnb fetches availability directly from Moder's booking calendar, but with certain limitations:
Only confirmed bookings move from Airbnb to Moder, i.e., a booking request, meaning you can still book that time slot from Moder's calendar.
Closed days do not transfer from the Airbnb account to Moder: if a day should be taken off the market, it's best to block it in Moder's calendar by, for example, creating an unavailable reservation for the property.
